NBLAW 2014 – Norwegian Biometrics Laboratory Annual Workshop 2014

Date: 2014-02-28 (09:30-14:50) Location: Room K102, Gjøvik University College (GUC), Gjøvik, Norway

Organizer: Gjøvik University College (Høgskolen i Gjøvik) in cooperation with the European Association of Biometrics
Attendance if free of charge, Registration is required!

When people here the term “Biometrics” they often unconsciously assume this refers to “Static Biological Biometrics”, i.e. authentication at the beginning of a session based upon physical characteristics like fingerprint, face or iris.

The goal of NBLAW-2014 is to make people more aware of both “behavioural biometrics” (i.e. recognition of a person based on how he/she performs specific actions) and to “continuous authentication” (i.e. detecting if a user has changed during a session).
