The increase in wide deployment of the biometric applications has also increased the vulnerability of biometric systems for various presentation attacks (or spoof attacks). The goal of presentation attacks is to gain access to the biometric system by presenting a biometric artefact, which serves as replicate of the legitimate subject.

The objective of NBLAW 2015 is to address all aspects of research issues that will eventually establish robust presentation attack detection in biometric systems. This includes the discussion and presentation on various challenges and solutions achieved on Presentation Attack Detection for various modalities including face, iris, fingerprint, and speech biometrics.

NBLAW 2015 Annual workshop on Presentation Attack Detection in Biometrics: solved and unsolved challenges.
