This Lunch Talk will be a conversation around the use of biometric data particularly in the migration management context. It will cover some of the potential impacts of this use on the fundamental rights of migrants, particularly the impacts on migrant children. The intention here is to focus slightly less on the purely technical side of biometrics, and to highlight some of the impacts associated with the use of this data in different contexts.
