DHS OBIM - Current and Future Identity Initiatives

Dr. Locker will give an overview of the Office of Biometric Identity Management and the role it plays in enhancing homeland security. She will discuss the capabilities that FI has advanced in the past year, and current studies, projects, and collaborations she is moving forward with industry and academia in the US and internationally.

Curriculum vitæ

Dr. Alicia Locker is part of the OBIM Futures Identity (FI) Team. She engages in discussions with academia and industry in the field of biometrics and identity. Dr. Locker focuses on advances in biometrics that are coming in the next 5-20 years. Dr. Locker has a PhD in behavioral neuroscience and works to incorporate this topic into the government sector to help solve complex biometric and identity problems and enhance homeland security.
