The Biometrics and Machine Learning (BioML) research group of the University of the Bundeswehr Munich (UniBwM), in cooperation with the European Association for Biometrics (EAB), will host a workshop on June 1 to 3, 2026, to discuss the current status of biometrics for defence and law enforcement, focusing on technical aspects and open challenges (e.g., attacks on biometric systems or privacy leaks). We invite all stakeholders, including academia, government agencies, LEAs, defense personnel, and industry, to participate in this event and help us pave the way forward for a more secure society using biometric recognition!
